Our Story

About Monolith Visuals

Monolith Visuals has been creating architectural imagery in
the UK for over seven years. We work with architects, designers, contractors,
and developers to visualise ideas at every stage of a project - from early
concepts to marketing-ready media. Whether you're looking for stills,
animation, or panoramic experiences, our team delivers visuals with clarity,
care, and craft.

We’ve let the work speak for itself until now. But we want
to show you the thinking behind what we do, and how the two strands of our
business - design and visualisation - work together to support your goals.

Why Choose Us

We’ve delivered work for hundreds of clients with the same professionalism and design expertise found in architectural practice. Every client works directly with Ru Pawluk, supported by Oliver Justice, who handle all communication, design reviews, and debriefs personally - ensuring you’re supported throughout.

We focus on efficiency, clarity, and quality in every visual, whether it’s for planning, design development, or public-facing
marketing.

Getting Started

Commissioning visuals is straightforward. You can either
request a quote or place an order via our enquiry form. Once we have the
details, we’ll get back to you within two business days to confirm timelines
and scope.

Most projects can begin within 3–5 working days, depending
on current workload. If you're ready to talk, you can reach Oliver directly or
book a video call.

Costs

Our pricing is structured in three tiers to suit different
stages of design and different budget levels. We charge for time, not content
type, which means flythroughs and panoramas often offer excellent value.

We do not outsource overseas or cut corners. Every image is
created by architecturally trained designers, based in the UK. Our team is paid
above industry standards and we do not ask for unpaid overtime. This reflects
our commitment to ethical practice and quality outcomes.

Timelines

Turnaround time depends on the level of information
provided:

  • With
    a model and resolved design
: First draft in 1–2 working days, final in
    approx. 5 days.
  • With
    drawings but no model
: First draft in 3–4 days, final in approx. 7
    days.
  • With
    only a sketch or idea
: First draft in 10–14 days, final in approx.
    14–21 days.

These timelines are based on efficient feedback loops and
project clarity.

Visuals That Work

A great visual enhances your project, communicates intent,
and brings others on board. Our work focuses on four key pillars:

  • Composition
  • Light
  • Materiality
  • Atmosphere

Atmosphere is the most difficult to achieve - but also the
most powerful. It gives your audience a clear sense of place, emotion, and
purpose.

We combine technical skill with design sensibility to create
visuals that do more than explain - they persuade, inspire, and build
confidence.

Why We’re Different

Our visuals are shaped by architectural training. This means
a strong understanding of both design and communication. Every image is held to
the same standard as built work - clear, resolved, and effective.

We don’t focus on technology. We focus on what your image
needs to do. That might mean explaining a concept, persuading an investor, or
supporting a planning application. The intent drives the process, not the
tools.

Commissioning

To commission a visual, simply build your project up in our
builder, or get in touch. We will guide you through the process, whether by
phone, email, or video call. You can find all contact details in the footer.

Our Team

Ru Pawluk

CGI Studio Director

Ru joined the studio in January 2020 after completing a Bachelor of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. As CGI Studio Director, Ru leads the studio’s visualisation work, combining architectural understanding with a detailed technical approach to image-making.

His work focuses on creating high-quality CGI for architecture, interiors, and product design, with a particular strength in translating design intent into clear, atmospheric and commercially useful visuals. Ru works closely with Oliver Justice to refine visual direction, develop design solutions, and ensure each image supports the wider architectural or marketing objective.

With strong knowledge of 3D modelling, lighting, materials, composition, and rendering workflows, Ru helps streamline complex projects from brief through to final output. His architectural background gives him a practical understanding of space, proportion, construction logic and how design decisions should be communicated visually.

Ru also has hands-on experience designing and making furniture using materials such as concrete and timber. This practical understanding of material behaviour, texture, weight and detail informs his CGI work, helping him create visuals that feel grounded, believable and physically considered.

Outside of work, Ru enjoys tennis and downhill mountain biking. Easy-going, technically minded and highly driven, Ru brings precision, creativity and a strong visual eye to every project.

Jarod Taylor

Senior CGI Artist

Jarod is driven by a passion for 3D modelling, architecture, and visual storytelling. With a strong appreciation for art and design, he draws inspiration from a wide range of creative influences, translating them into detailed and atmospheric work. Outside of the studio, he spends time skateboarding, training in the gym, and exploring photography, all of which continue to shape his perspective and creative approach.

Chad Marock

Sales and Marketing Specialist

Chad is our Sales and Marketing Specialist, supporting the studio’s growth through client outreach, brand positioning and multi-channel marketing. His work focuses on developing new business opportunities and helping architects, designers, developers and project teams understand the value of high-quality CGI. With a naturally approachable manner and strong communication skills, Chad plays an important role in building positive relationships with both new and existing contacts. Outside of the studio, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and has a strong interest in sport, particularly football.

Oliver Justice

Founding Director

BA (Hons) Architecture, MArch (Hons) Architecture, PGDip.Arch, ARB, RIBA

Oliver Justice is a practising chartered architect, RIBA Somerset Chair and one of the Founding Directors of Monolith Visuals, bringing over two decades of architectural training and practice to the studio. With experience at award-winning practices including Prewett Bizley Architects with a focus on private residential work and Ferguson Mann Architects with a focus on large-scale public projects, his background spans low-energy retrofit, conservation, urban design and carefully detailed fabrication work at both private and commercial ends of the built environment.

Over the past seven years, Oliver has helped shape Monolith Visuals into a quality-assured visualisation studio trusted by large commercial and smaller clients alike. His role is to provide strategic direction, maintain strong client relationships and ensure the studio’s work remains grounded in architectural understanding.

The real value of Monolith Visuals is delivered day to day by the wider team, whose technical skill, modelling expertise, creative judgement and continued adoption of new tools drive the quality of the studio’s output. Oliver’s role is to support that expertise with a broader, bird’s-eye view of each project.

Alongside his work at Monolith Visuals, Oliver continues to practise as an architect. This gives him direct insight into the client’s position, as he often acts as one himself. That perspective helps him understand the pressures, aspirations and commercial realities behind each commission, ensuring the studio’s work responds not only to the brief, but to the wider goals of its valued clients.
